Beachbody on demand review
Beachbody on demand review

This Beachbody on demand review and in-depth guide, aims to be the most concise, unbiased and comprehensive review available. We’ve been using beachbody on demand for over three months now, just to make sure we can cover everything in sufficient detail.

Most people are no strangers to streaming video services, we’ve had youtube and Netflix for quite some time now, so it makes sense for team beachbody to make a transition to a streaming service. We’re intimately familiar with beachbody’s workouts and fitness routines, so we’re very excited about this change and eager to get on with the review.

This review is for both existing beachbody fans as well as for those that are new to the brand. We’ve done our best to cover every question you might have and have covered every good point as well as bad. If you have any further questions or would like clarification on any points raised, please feel free to comment below and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Beachbody on Demand Review: Who We Are

If you’re wondering who we are, and why you should trust our review over anyone else’s, perhaps you’re thinking to yourself, is this reviewer credible?

Beachbody has been around for a long time, and has become an incredibly successful company. Hundreds of thousands of people search online for information on their exercise routines every month, which goes to show that team beachbody must be doing something right.

Beachbody on demand

Many people end up buying a beachbody workout without fully understanding what’s in store for them, or without knowing whether the fitness routine is a good choice given their requirements and goals.

Is this workout the perfect choice for me? It’s a question that everyone should ask before buying a workout.

So back to the original question, what makes me a good choice for reviewing the beachbody on demand service?

I have been a writer and personal trainer for most of my adult life. I’ve written for several very popular magazines and have my own column on several websites, I’ve personally tried and reviewed nearly every single beachbody workout. I know what makes for a good workout, and I know what most people want from a workout routine.

This review takes an in depth look into what makes this one of the best options for anyone looking for a fitness routine. But we also look at some of the complaints with the service and what beachbody needs to do to improve its service.

The beachbody website is full of buzz words and marketing hype, all aimed at getting you to sign up to the on demand service. If we take all of that away and just look at how easy the site is to use and what you get for your money, is the service any good?

Beachbody On Demand Review: What Is it?

Beachbody on demand is a repository containing nearly every single beachbody workout, available to download and stream as much as you want. Periodically new videos and workout programmes are released, but even without that there is a ton of content to get through. You’d be hard pushed to view and digest everything that is available.

The content access is unlimited, which means you’re free to watch as many workouts as you’d like in any day, and on any device in any location.

You can choose to stream the videos from your laptop, smart tv, tablet or any other compatible device, which means you’re truly free to workout wherever you want. If you travel allot due to work, this portability can be incredibly useful.

Within the online portal you get access to everything you would normally get with any other workout program, including personalised meal plans and calendars for tracking workouts and progress made. Everything is available for as long as your subscription is active, you even have the ability to create customised workouts based on your favourite elements from each workout program.

Included with the subscription is a 10% on all Beachbody purchases, so if you regularly buy the beachbody supplements or shakeology, then the subscription is probably worth it just for the money you’ll save. You’ll also be given the opportunity to chat with the trainers during one of their frequent online chat sessions.

Beachbody is available at $2.99 a week, but before you need to pay a thing, you can try beachbody on demand for a full month for free, simply by using the link below.

Beachbody On Demand Review: Why Choose On Demand

The fitness library is huge. A on demand subscription will give you access to over 100 professionally created videos and this library is still growing. Most of the most popular programs are available with the subscription, including:

  • Insanity the Asylum Vol. 2
  • Hip Hop Abs
  • Hip Hop abs deluxe
  • Rockin Body

  • P90X
  • P90X2
  • P90X3
  • Power 90
  • Ten Minute Trainer
  • Tony one-on-one Vol. 1
  • Tony one-on-one Vol. 2
  • Tony one-on-one Vol. 3
  • Brazil Butt Lift
  • Thai Cheng
  • Turbo Fire

  • Plus 10 more

You’ll also have the ability to stream any purchases you’ve made in the past, including 21 Day Fix, 21 Day Fix Extreme, Body Beast, Focus T25, Insanity MAX:30, P90, PiYo and Cize.

The beauty of a streaming subscription service such as this, is that you’ll get access to a huge variety of different types of programs. Some workout programs focus on maximising fat loss, while others are strength based, while others specialise in bulking up. There are loads of online reviews for the various programs available, so we’re not going to go through and critique them all. It’s worth noting though, that all the programs are professionally made and produced, which means for the most part they are high quality, enjoyable and informative.

Let’s say you want to focus on fat loss for two months, then you want to change to a muscle toning workout for another three months and finally you want work on overall fitness and stamina for another month. Before beachbody on demand, you’d need to purchase three separate workout routines to accomplish your goals, but now with the streaming service you can mix and match to your hearts content. There are even tools which help you create the perfect plan to meet your needs.

Beachbody on Demand Review: Diversity and Fun

If you’ve ever run any sort of exercise program in the past, even if it wasn’t a beachbody workout, you’ll know that it’s very easy to become bored with routine. Even when you’re seeing results, you’re getting fitter, stronger and looking healthy, but doing the same program for months on end can become tedious. Most of the beachbody workout programs are designed around a three, two or one month progression, which means at the end of the allotted time period, you can either repeat or move onto something else, which will likely result in another purchase.

With the beachbody on demand service you can create a near unlimited amount of customised schedules, and create hybrid workouts, so chances are you’ll never become bored with your workouts. There are also load of people out there sharing there customised workout programs, which means you can just pick one that you like the look of and give it a go.

All of this is available with a one month free trial.

You don’t pay a single thing for the first 30 days, and there is no pressure or sales call to continue with the subscription, you can cancel at any time. You just stop the trial and that’s it. If you do decide to continue, the second month and every single month after that will cost you $12 a month, which is far cheaper than a gym membership.

Beachbody on Demand Review: Mobile and Moving

Being mobile with the on demand service is incredibly useful. You can workout in the park during your lunch break, in your backyard, or in whatever space you have available. This offers huge advantages for anyone that doesn’t have the space at home to workout, or would rather workout in the outdoors. Mix it up a little bit and invite your friend along, it can be huge amounts of fun, not to mention motivating, to work out with a couple of mates.

Speaking of motivation, the live chat sessions are a great way to listen and speak with the trainers directly. I challenge anyone not to feel motivated after attending a chat session. These guys know there stuff and are very enthusiastic about getting everyone to enjoy working out as much as they do.

Beachbody on Demand Review: What Needs To Be Improved

Like any new product, Beachbody on demand is not without its faults. It’s important for any review to understand these faults and to anticipate any areas which might end up being a source of frustration for users.

The always online requirements for the streaming service can be infuriating at times. Imagine if you’ve arrived at your hotel only to find out there is no WiFi in your room, or the connection is so bad that you can’t stream the videos effectively. Sure you can just change to your mobile data, but those high definition videos are data hungry, and you might find yourself using more than you had planned.

If you decide after a few months that the subscription service is no longer for you, you will lose access to all the videos and workouts. At least with the DVD workouts once you buy something, it’s yours to keep.

However, the flip side to this is that there is no waiting around to get your workouts. Traditionally when you decide to buy a DVD workout, you’re pumped to try it out, but you need to wait around a few days for the DVDs to arrive, and even they it’s possible that the workout you’ve chosen is not the perfect choice for you. With the on demand service you pick your workout and you can get started immediately, while your enthusiasm is still high. If you find it’s not for you, you can choose a different program or choose to cancel the free trial without losing any money.

Beachbody on Demand Review: FAQs

Do any of the workout programs provide subtitles?

Yes, some of the workout programs come with subtitles:

What kind of system do I need?

If you want to be able to run high definition streaming videos then you need a system that’s capable of doing so, this might seem obvious to most people, but not everyone has the latest pieces of hardware or the best internet connection. The following system requirements are taken directly from the Beachbody website.

Optimal System Requirements
